The Hunger Games is a series about a sixteen year old girl, Katniss, who has to fight for her life in a game for others amusement. The Hunger Games are a yearly event that choose one girl and one boy aged twelve to eighteen from each of the twelve districts to fight to the death on television.She volunteered to go instead of her 12 year old sister. She has an ally in a boy, Peeta, she is suppose to be fighting. Eventually they are told that both can win if they are the last couple to live. When they are the last to live they are told that they have to kill each other, so they threaten to both commit suiside. The games have to have a winner, so they both win and live.
