Katniss:
Katniss is a sixteen year olg girl, whose sister gets chosen for a game that is the fight to the death. Because her sister is only twelve, Katniss volenteers in her place. When Katniss was eleven, her father died and her mother went into depression, so while growing up she was really close to her sister. When going into the Hunger Games, she is a very dangerous target for others because of her skills with a bow and arrow. What is driving her throughout the entire Games is the promise that she gave her sister, that she would try and come home.
