Jace:

Jace is a Shadowhunter that is concidered one of the best. He lives a the New York Institute with the Lightwoods after the death of his father when he was ten. One night when he goes to kill a demon at a club, someone sees him, later finding out that Clary is connected to the Shadow World. He ends up helping Clary find her mother and falls in love with her. When they find Clary's mother who was taken by Clary's father, a man who is thought to be dead, it is reveiled that they are brother and sister. Jace relises that Valentine, Clary's father, is the man who raised him. They end up having to fight Valentine, but Clary's mother is still in a coma.
